New York–The Kensie girl can now be accessorized with jewelry.

Kensie jewelry is the latest addition to Liz Claiborne’s stable of jewelry brands, and as Liz Claiborne also owns the Kensie apparel line, the jewelry extension should come as no surprise to the industry.

Liz Claiborne owns jewelry brands Marvella, Trifari and Monet as well as livestyle brands that include jewelry such as Liz Claiborne, Dana Buchman, Mexx, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture and Lucky.

“The Kensie brand is what girls like us want to wear right now, it was so fun and exciting to be able to design unique, edgy jewelry that my friends and I love to wear,” says Kristine Moore, senior designer.

The line is “young and contemporary,” with lots of oxidized brass and hematite metals, as well as tribal motifs. Silhouettes include tribal pendant necklaces, swingy earrings, knuckle buster rings, over-the-knuckle hinged rings. Retails range from $18 to $148.
