Item of the Day: Anthony Lent

Anthony LentRemember: “Hearts, Stars, and Horseshoes, Clovers, and Blue Moons! Pots of Gold and Rainbows, and me Red Balloons!”

Well how about hearts, moons, stars, skulls and frogs?

That’s the sometimes irreverent view that master jewelry Anthony Lent brings to his designs. He calls his critters the “feared and fabled.” If Anthony Lent sounds familiar, it’s probably because he taught jewelry design at Fashion Institute of Technology and served as chairman of the jewelry department there for over a decade.

Now he and his two sons are having a launch of his 40-year-old jewelry company.

While many of Lent’s work in 18K gold is as exquisite as its pricepoints, he brings a touch of his idiosyncratic vision to these stackable rings made  from oxidized sterling silver with tiny 18K gold charms. True to his sculptural styles, the rings have that mix of sweet and sassy.

The more of them you wear the better. They’re magically delicious…

Retail: $600 each
