What’s the best way to honor outstanding accessories merchants? Send in your nominations for Accessories Magazine’s 2015 Annual Merchants Hall of Fame Awards.

This prestigious accolade recognizes individuals in retailing who make outstanding contributions to the accessories industry, but we need your input to help us pinpoint the best of the best. We’ve received some excellent candidates, but we still need more.

We’re looking for accessories merchants who are strategic thinkers and know their customers; merchants who aren’t afraid to take risks; merchants who are adept at seizing opportunities based on uptrending fashions or emerging trends.

Your nominations can include VPs, GMMs, DMMs and buyers from any retail channel—from major department stores, mass merchants and mid-tier companies to specialty chains, catalogs and Internet retailers. You may nominate as many people as you want. All nominations are strictly confidential.

Based upon your recommendations, the editors and publishers of Accessories will then select the inductees.

To submit your nominations, please email them to buyer_hof@busjour.com and include the nominee’s name and title, store or Internet retailer name. And please include a line or two of why they deserve to be selected. (Again, all submissions are confidential).

Accessories will feature full-page profiles of the outstanding merchants in a special 2015 Merchants Hall of Fame Section that will be published in our January issue.
